NBA All Star Weekend in Las Vegas 2007
Launch ESPN Micro Video Channel

Objective:
Produce a video that captures the excitement around ESPN Deportes dominos' activation at celebrity driven events during the NBA All Star week. These activations were enacted in an effort to position dominos as an upcoming trend among today's tastemakers. The overall campaign was part of a larger effort from ESPN Deportes to promote their upcoming coverage of the Dominos World Championships.

Deliverables: Two video segments were produced and promoted online. The first was red carpet coverage of the Celebrity Eight Ball Challenge hosted by Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning. Celebrity sound bytes from Ludacris, Magic Johnson, Dr. J, Reggie Bush and others were captured on the subject of dominos. The second segment was produced during the ESPN taping of Friday Night Fights live from the Wynn Hotel.


Case Study: ESPN Deportes & Sauza Tequila

MLB All Star Weekend in San Francisco & Cinco de Mayo in LA
Objective:
ESPN Deportes and Sauza Tequila partnered up to co-promote the upcoming broadcast of the Dominoes Federation World Championship. To do this ESPN Deportes installed several dominoes themed pavillions, sponsored by Sauza Tequila at key events throughout the country.

Deliverables:
Creation of a one minute "reality" spot where Sauza is activating dominos at select ESPN DEPORTES events. The spots show how Sauza is interacting with the consumer on the ground with the ESPN Deportes brand and dominoes. The first of the events took place in Los Angeles during the Cinco de Mayo weekend at Whittier Narrows Park. The second was filmed in San Francisco during the Major League Baseball All Star Week - Home Run Derby After Party.
